The DIM city

For saving electricity, the entire city of Tokyo is quite dim recently. Surely, escalators are not working where we can find stairs beside them. The entrance of the building in which my company has its head office looks like "Today's OFF" because no light is on. In the office, no-air conditioning, lights completely off during lunch break, half-lighted corridor. Last week we often had announce "We'll have an earthquake very soon" and hearing that, I stayed away from being right under the fluorescent lights with a helmet in my hand, continuing to sit on the chair. I was not sure whether the building was swinging or I, myself was shaking. Since I am living near the office, I went there every day without delay. But when I came back to the nearest station, no preservable food nor no drink which is my favorite was left at the supermarket. The competetion with housewives is really severe around here...However, I'm not losing any weight after the quake. Don't worry!

Regarding radiation level in Tokyo, I'd like to recommend the site below.

From the data of Bureau of Industrial and Labor Affairs, we actually had I131, I132, Cs134, and Cs137 on 15th and 16th. I wish I knew that information at that time. Keep watching!
