Slept in a train car (Tetsuko's dream?)

What were you doing at 10 minutes to 3 pm on March 11th? I was at a meeting with a customer in Takasaki. Just after finishing our presentation, and started receiving questions, then... the EARTHQUAKE! When the first long-lasting shake had ceased, we were called for evacuation and gathered at the courtyard of the factory for the roll call. One thing we felt ‘LUCKY' was that the customer accepted the sample evaluation because he was a little too upset.
My accompanying colleagues are all gentlemen caring their families, so they were calling and mailing all the time. They wished to come back home as soon as possible, and waited for the local train to recover... But all the train schedule during the day was cancelled. The highway gate was closed. We knocked the doors of nearly all the business hotels in front of the station and searched vacant hotel rooms of neighboring cities using internet, in vain. As a result, we had to spend a night in a train car hearing my colleague snoring, with a courtesy of JR East.
The next day, we took the first local train to Ueno around 7 am, but I gave up standing on the train at Kumagaya, because it took almost 5 hours to get there from Takasaki. I had no motivation to go home sooner, and said good-bye to my colleagues. First, I took my lunch with dessert(custard pudding), and thought about the travel plan. The Nagano Shinkansen was about to move around 4 pm, but I couldn't obtain a reserved seat at that time. When I walked to the bus stop, I found that the bus route leads to one of the station of Tobu Tojo-Line. That's it!! ...Finally, I reached home at 15:30. It was a long trip. Hope everyone reading this blog is safe.
